FAQ

Ethmoji are ENS names comprised of only emoji characters (πŸ’ŽπŸ€²πŸš€.eth). They are memorable, simple, iconic, and fun! We are a global, grassroots community of technology visionaries, and this site helps us classify, quantify, catalog, and follow Ethmoji throughout the web3 metaverse.

1️⃣ENS domains must be at least 3 "characters" long, and they end in ".eth". Anyone can register them at app.ens.domains

2️⃣Some emoji are 1 character (πŸ˜€), but some are actually 2, 3, or more characters long (πŸ•β€πŸ¦Ί is comprised of 3 characters).

Because device manufacturers and software makers use their images to represent each emoji, there might be a chance that your operating system or software is not up-to-date or has not received an update to support all new emojis. If your device or software is up-to-date you can click the emoji button in the right corner to switch to the Twitter emoji set. This set supports all emojis in existence! πŸ₯°

Because the most popular emoji are all single characters, "triple singleton" domains are one of the most prized ethmoji categories. Just 3 repeating single-character emojis, like πŸš€πŸš€πŸš€.eth, "triple singletons" are also very rare; counting only 1352 in existence.

This is because some emojis join 2 characters together to make one character. These often result in variations such as skin tone emojis, rather than their yellow counterparts. These addresses are still 3 characters long under the hood.

There are ways people can put special characters in and around the emojis to make them look the same but actually exceed the 3 character amount. Before buying an Ethmoji, always use ourfraud checker,or follow the OpenSea link straight from ourbrowser page.
